Our company mainly imports UK second-hand clothes. At our site, we exclusively process raw materials, which we sort by hand and with great care and sort them into more than 250 groups, and then we group, grade and bag them.
Technology
The selection criteria are continuously developed and adjusted to the current customer needs. We prepare our employees for these aspects through a multi-month learning process. At the same time, we regularly and rigorously inspect their work to guarantee the usual quality.
3 trucks arrive each week, which approx. means 50-60 tonnes of raw goods. We sort this out into more than 250 groups according to a system of criteria developed with serious quality requirements. We process approx. 12 tons of goods. After packing and baling the selected goods, we make 25-30 kg bags, 55 kg or 400 kg bales according to the market needs.
On the one hand, we sell our products to domestic retailers, and on the other hand, we export abroad, twice a week. These are transported by ship, at which point 22-28 tons of goods are placed in a container – depending on the market.
Our company is committed to sustainable development and environmental protection. Thus, we pay special attention to producing as little garbage as possible. We process 99% of the raw material.
